Summer of Smoothies: Strawberry-Orange Summer of Love

This week’s smoothie is all about love. The strawberries, almond milk, and spices are reputed aphrodisiacs, and the oranges are said to promote friendship and caring. Both oranges and strawberries are loaded with vitamin C, and the cinnamon in the five-spice powder helps regulate blood sugar – and boosts brain activity!

The Strawberry-Orange Summer of Love is sweet and warm, even as it is refreshing and cold. Try it for brunch, or make a big batch for a summer party!

      This one’s really good for a party – it’s got a punch-like flavor, and light for a Vitamix-type smoothie!
